Christian Brothers Academy Seeks Chess Coach

Christian Brothers Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to help mentor its state and national championship chess team.

Recent CBA chess successes include, sectional title at NYC championships, two titles at NYC High School Championships, NJ 12th Grade Champions, National Champions for 12th grade for second time in three years, Jersey Shore Conference Champions and State Champions.

Candiates' qualifications should include:

· being a USCF rated player

· having experience teaching chess and the ability to analyze games

· availability after school several days per week and for several weekend tournaments per year

There will be a delay in rating today's G/50 Quads!

We are missing 4 results from round 3!!!!:

Games with no result reported within a reasonable period of time will be considered un-played draws.


UPDATE: Monday 7/23 @ 3:07 a.m. - We received 3 of the 4 results. The other game has been reported as an un-played draw. The event has been submitted for rating.

Eric Yuhan Li Becomes National Master

Former Westfield CC member Eric Yuhan Li went 3-0 at today's Chess Mates Saturday Quad & earned his National Master title.
